Embedding a Twitter feed into your EHQ projects or site can be a great way to keep you community up to date with your latest announcements. Twitter offers a range of different options for creating embeddable content. In this article we will look at embedding a timeline. In order to get started, your first step, if you haven't already done so, is to sign-up for Twitter.
Embedding a Timeline
If you already have a Twitter account it's easy to embed a timeline into your EHQ site by doing the following;
- Visit the Twitter profile page you wish to embed
- Click on the More User Options link in the right corner of the page under the banner
- Select Embed Timeline
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create your embed code
- Once you have produced you code you can then paste it into your EHQ site wherever you can switch to HTML source code. This will include your custom widgets, WYSIWYG editors and Freestyle homepage widget.
